Your Memory
Your Memory is what every AI knows about you: your rules, your name, your preferences, what you are working on - learned quietly from chats, or added by you. The page opens with a row of faces: You first, then each of your AIs with how much it keeps for itself. Pick a face to see that memory.
Rules come first
A rule is a standing instruction from you, kept in your own words: "Always answer in one short sentence." Every AI is reminded of your rules in every answer, ahead of the facts.
Say one in chat and a card under your message asks Keep this as a rule? - Keep saves it, and the card reads "Kept as a rule - every AI follows it." Or add one here with Add › Rule (always). An AI can suggest a rule but never saves one itself; rules are yours to keep. They show under Rules your AIs follow.
Facts, with their sources
Each fact records where it came from - "learned from your chats", "added by you", "from a signed conversation", or the import it came from - so you can trace it back and read the exchange yourself. Facts you add or correct by hand are authored, and authored facts are sticky: nothing an AI later infers can overwrite what you told it directly.

What your AIs are told about you
From your remembered facts and notes, Your Own AI writes a short picture of who you are - a few sentences, in plain language - and gives it to every AI along with the facts. It rewrites itself in the background as your memory changes and keeps itself current (something you were planning becomes something you did). Once your documents have cards, a second paragraph joins it: what you write about, and what you keep.
Two things make ours different. It is written on your computer, by the local model that does your memory work, never by an online model. And it is shown to you: the block at the top of Your Memory, "What your AIs are told about you", opens on request to the exact text your AIs receive, updated whenever it changes. You are never described behind your back.
The block says private, and means it precisely: the text is written on this computer by a model running here, stored encrypted with the facts, and goes nowhere on its own. Your AIs are told it only when they answer you, the same way as the facts, so it travels with your question, online models included.
A few guarantees, by construction: the summary only ever draws on facts you can see and edit; the writing pass can never add, change, or delete a fact; and anything you told an AI directly can never be overwritten by something it merely inferred. So if the summary is ever wrong, you do not edit the prose - you fix or forget the fact it came from, and the summary rewrites itself from the corrected truth.
Tidied while you were away
When the app has been idle for ten minutes and the computer is not on battery, a local model tidies these entries: duplicates merged, notes filed as what they plainly are, dates made absolute, the oldest entries past five hundred moved to history. Rules and pinned entries are never touched. The panel Tidied while you were away lists each change - "Merged … into …", "Filed … as a command (was a note)", "Moved … to history" - with the date and an Undo button, as long as that change is the entry's latest.
Editing, forgetting, pausing
Every entry can be edited or deleted. Remembering / Paused stops new learning - and the summary's rewriting - without touching what is already there. Forgetting an entry removes it from your records, and through them from every device you own; there is nowhere else it could be. Forget all cannot be undone, and says so.
