Memory that survives

All of it - Your Memory, the summary your AIs receive, each AI's memory, knowledge, and project memory - is stored encrypted in your records with a key only you hold, reaches every device you own, rides your Vault backup, and comes back on a new machine.

What is where

• Your rules, facts, decisions and session notes are separate, dated entries in your own private network, sealed to you. They reach your other devices directly when both are on, and from a device that is switched off through its backup copy in your Vault.
• What your AIs are told about you (the picture from your facts and the paragraph from your documents) is stored as entries in the same place, so it inherits the same encryption, backup, and forget-everything behavior - there is no second store to worry about.
• Each AI's memory lives in that AI's own record.
• Project memory is recorded revision by revision in your records, and a project is the same project on every computer.

Forgetting is real

Forgetting an entry, deleting a conversation, or clearing an AI's memory removes it from your records, and through them from every device you own; a deleted conversation's deletion is signed into the record, so a restore keeps it deleted. There is nowhere else it could be: no server ever had it.

Nothing depends on a plan

Memory is a local feature. It works without a Flowsta identity, keeps working if a plan ends, and exports readable with your data - keys included - so it is never held hostage. Syncing it between your devices needs only the free Flowsta Vault, not a plan.
